Youth Mental Health First Aid Training gives caring adults the tools to show up for young people when it matters most. In this course, we walk participants through the early signs of mental health and substance use challenges in youth ages 12 - 18 and share a clear, research‑based action plan for responding.
Through honest discussion, scenarios, and guided practice, educators, parents, mentors, and youth workers learn how to notice shifts in mood or behavior, ask hard questions with compassion, and connect teens to appropriate support. We talk openly about anxiety, depression, self‑harm, and crisis situations, always emphasizing safety and respect.
One school partner told us that after this training, staff no longer felt helpless when a student shut down or acted out. They felt prepared. That is our aim: to equip every adult in a young person's world to recognize distress early, stay calm, and respond in ways that protect dignity and save lives.
Share your questions, ideas, or partnership requests, and our team will follow up with you promptly to explore how we can support your students, family, or program.
