Mission Statement
Equipped4LifeNow uplifts underserved K–12 students in Cleveland and surrounding Cuyahoga County communities through academic enrichment, mentorship, personal skills development and foundational life skills development.
R.O.L.E. Mentoring
Small-group mentoring for young men that builds character, confidence, and literacy.
Literacy Development Workshops
Targeted reading and writing support that strengthens foundational skills and motivation.
Personal Growth Activities
Skills-based sessions that teach goal setting, conflict resolution, and positive choices.
Our Process
We welcome each scholar with care, then begin with Educate, strengthening literacy, writing, and math so classrooms feel less overwhelming.
Next, we move into Liberate, helping students challenge limiting beliefs and practice new skills in real-world scenarios.
Finally, we center Motivate, nurturing voice, leadership, and purpose. Families walk this journey with us through workshops, mentoring, and consistent encouragement.

Equipped4LifeNow (EQ4LN) was founded in 2019 with a powerful mission: to equip underserved K-12 scholars in Cuyahoga County—primarily in Cleveland, Ohio—with the literacy skills they need to thrive. Recognizing the urgent need to strengthen reading, writing, and math foundations, EQ4LN empowers students through accessible, high-quality educational resources. By fostering learning environments that inspire growth, we ensure every scholar has the opportunity to succeed academically and beyond.
